| I dont know about you... but i can't stand tunes remade from original pop/singing tunes making it to electronica... Like for instance... aurora's-ordinary world made from duran durans original tune...or the send me an angel tune, etc... It makes me not even want to hear the original tune anymore.. It is sort of like hearing a tune on a commercial... then disliking it afterward.. |

| some of them are quite ty. but other's sound rather nice. like airscape's mixes of kiss by the vengaboys and alice deejay's the lonely one. they sound TONS better than the original. madonna's new one has been remixed too and it sounds quite...snazzy. :) |

| I guess what you refer to are bootlegs or synergy. You're right: Usually these songs suck and spoil the good things of the original. There is just one synergy track that really did it for me. After DaRude's Sandstorm was hyped and commerced, it completely died out and I didn't enjoy listening to it anymore. A few weeks later I found a bootleg called: DaRude vs. One Phat Diva - In and out of the Sandstorm. It was the original daRude track, but with vocals all through it. Somehow it really finished the song, so what I'm basically am saying is that synergy usually sucks, but it can do good too. |

| They do this to increase there chance to have a hit, most of these songs are just plain and they should have left the original alone but then the od one dose kick ass if they know what they are doing |

| If you're talking about remixes try Dannii "All I Wanna Do" (Trouser Enthusiasts Mix/Dub). I love this track, one of my all time faves. Original is a pop song, but this is a truly brilliant remix. If you've never heard it, check it out! |

I absolutely love The Power Of Love by Frankie goes to Hollywood (Rob Searle Remix) althought the song is quite some years old.
And what about Barber's Adagio for Strings??????
Thas song must be more than 100 or 200 years old. |
