Thousands in New York run through mud - for fun...

Thousands of competitors took part in the Merrell Down and Dirty Mud Run at Orchard Beach in New York Sunday. The race included military obstacles, running, wading in the water, crawling through mud and scaling a wall covered with soap.

hehe I know someone who did this, and she said it was a BLAST! just sliding and rolling around in mud for fun!! She was covered and happy when she was finised :)

| One of my absolute favorite things about New York is the city wide events like this. Running through the mud, pillow fights, playing in fountains...I love New York. |
