Yeah the LT1 wasn't great on gas, but it was such an easy engine to work on.
I'm still happy with my LS1, 350hp and 36mpg on the highways, not complaining. |

0-60 in 5.1-5.3 seconds. Its pretty good for a car that weighs over 4000lbs. |

Yeah its pretty good. The Srt runs low 4s.

lol i know in the odd case its pulled down 30 mpg on the highway but not 36.

Not always, but sometimes! I drive a C5 Corvette, it's pretty light so the mileage is good. It's the highest I've ever seen, usually highway is about 31-32mpg. |

My brother took over the car because the payments were way to high for me along with gas prices and insurance. The thing just sucked gas like it was nothing. I compromised and met in the middle with the Speed3 which is one of the best handling FWD cars out there today in its price range. Pretty quick too.
I was looking into the EVO and STI but I just couldnt see myself spending that much when for about half I am almost on par with those cars with what I got now. |
