That's the exact reason why people come here...well it is for me. Its funny to read the crazy postings from the TOTA cast of characters. All it takes is one person to make some off the wall comment and all hell breaks loose. This is TOTA and this is why I like it LOL |

Although none of us know exactly what happened here, I do HIGHLY doubt that the label would release such a strongly worded statement without at LEAST discussing the issue with him first. What if it was a mistake or he had originally produced the track? The label would have given him the chance to explain himself before taking such action.
Again, I don't know this guy at all but it does seem like he may just saying this is the first he's heard of it because he's embarrassed about it. He probably doesn't want to admit that he stole someone else's track, even to a friend of ten years…. |

Right still inexcusable for stealing a track.. If anything it gives more reason to as to why he would do it (no time)! It has nothing to do with the money, its the publicity!
anyways. Try to help him make a good excuse and post it here for our entertainment. Perhaps his whole discography should be scoured by our panel of ID experts. |

No, usually they just send either a mastered copy or unmastered copy (if label is to do the master) in WAV format (you wouldn't give MP3 to label for release). You wouldn't send any stems or anything unless they were giving that out for remixes. |

Like I said before, I'm not saying for sure that he's innocent. But if he says that he is, and can prove it, then I'll support him...

Yah he told me he sent the WAV file (sorry) but they also wanted the stems..
I'll see if he can send me copies of emails with attachments... |
