Man that's a ty lineup. It looks like they spent all their money booking Tiesto and ran out before they could get anyone else.
Last year's lineup actually had niche performers like Ferry Tayle and Super8 & Tab. Energy is now another festival that tries to span as many genres as possible but doesn't do well in showcasing any of them.

| Please, nice lineup? Well, I know taste is in the eye of the beholder but I've never read a line-up where I didn't recognize 50% of the artists. I've been folllowing trance music for 12 years now and despite the denial by ID&T this isn't a trance event anymore. I'd categorize it into electro, techno, house. Maybe I grew old and I've become worng in assuming that a essential aspect of trance is melody - uplifting, vocal whatever... I cannot see much of that in this line-up. Means, this years TRANCE Energy has been the last for me. So I'll stick with Armin and CO. suites me better and since there is an Armin Only coming up and ASOT 500 in April 2011 it compensates for the loss of Trance Energy. So, again awfull lineup! And to ID&T: Stick it some place save.... |
