Come on now, you guys at least have a little more reason to be excited this year. They are going to be bad, and will probably not make the playoffs again...but they will actually win a few more games this year.
My prediction for tonight:
no price, no markov, no cammi, no hammer = i will have a leafs avy for the week, people will be planning the parade on younge street and the sports talk radio shows will be full of hilarious optimism.
It will be the only time this year that i will have to use that avy.

at least they will be better than the raptors:P |

| hey, they're way better off than last year. with a few bounces of the puck they can easily be 8th or 7th. habs are terrible, true story. |

i said they were better than last year.
habs still have a better team with more depth.
Toronto has one line, the worst penalty killing in the league (and with all of the goons/unskilled grinders on the team, there will be a lot of penalties.
boston is getting a top 7 pick again this year.
willing to make a wager that the habs will finish ahead of the leafs? If you go in the old thread and read, you will see that 9 times out of 10 i usually get things right...so be careful what you bet:p |

you said the habs suck (i won't go that far, but they are not a top tier team yet...i say yet, because we have an extremely strong group of prospects on the farm and haven't traded away our future like some other teams:p), i am confident that they finish ahead of the leafs and in 7th or 8th.
