It's not more than $15 at Avalon, if it is you're doing it wrong. And I'm talking about international djs too, no one should be paying more than that to get into a club ever. That's absurd.

Tommy, I think Bas was trying to point out that on most club nights even in LA, there is way to get on a discount list. You just have hunt around a bit. This includes those special event nights. Even the door guys at Avalon have discount tickets late at night. They generally are supposed to give em to hot girls or some .

Bas you should know that on Avalon's biggest nites, the discount list is like $25.... say for Morillo next week...
most nites its typically $15 before 10pm and $20 before 11.... and if you get there before 10pm you probably are going to spend $8 on a drink anyway so you spent $15 to get in you ended up spending more than if you showed up at 1045 and paid $20 to get in. so really $20 is a more realistic price for Avalon via the discount list...
btw, i paid 30 euros (about $42) to get in DC10 the other day to see some of your favorite djs.... so a price of 2x that for a big commercial dj like Guetta at a much more 'posh' club like Pacha makes sense... Cocoon at Amnesia is something like $85 to get into with djs like Sven, Ritchie, Marco Carola, Loco Dice, etc.
how much were tickets for SSFD at the WMC? not $15 that's for sure...

Even if you buy presale for most events $15 bucks, after the service charge you are close to 20 bucks.
