The problem was that when I made this thread, those tickets on Groovetickets weren't available yet. Now they are.

BTW, Henry, the tweet you guys sent out says SEPT 20th!

I think $20-$25 cover is reasonable for a big club night in LA.

On a completely unrelated matter, I paid $5 for cover to a club on last Saturday night in Tucson, and then my Tanqueray & Tonics were $3! Insanely cheap.

Cocoon at Amnesia is something like $85 to get into with djs like Sven, Ritchie, Marco Carola, Loco Dice, etc.

I just looked up my pre-sale ticket for Cocoon (normal night), and it was:
Cocoon - Monday 05.07.2010
Price: 45.00 EUR
ralary
hahah,I met the similar things before, calm down

so about $61 depending on the exchange rate.... not quite as high as i had estimated but i think anyone would agree $60+ for those djs isn't cheap....

$55 for a red bull/vodka and a diet coke/bacardi in the vip section at Amnesia made me do a double take more than anything else (okay maybe $20 redbulls at Pacha too lol).

when i went to college at Florida State, if you spent $20 on drink you were probably going to puke later that nite! free to $5 covers, 4-for-1 drinks, nickel beer nights, etc. ahhh those were the days!

You shouldn't have to pay over $15 to get into a club ever. If you do, or if you accept that as "the norm", you're a ing idiot.

Are you talking about Los Angeles only? If so, then yeah I can agree with you. But then again we know everybody who may be involved in the production of any club night in town. Outside of LA? Good luck getting into any (large) club night you may ever consider going for under $15, especially an event with an A-list headliner.

His sets @ massives differ extremely from smaller venues.

I see the most random people posting on facebook..."Is anyone going to David Guetta concert?"

David Guetta was a year or two ago.

saw him for free for the dipdive pre-grammy party back in january and he was pretty good.. with Black Eye Peas...Kelly Rowland..Kelis..etc...

he played a lot better after the majority of the "mainstream" crowd left at around 1:30am

it was nice because it wasnt even remotely crowded...
