was in TO this past weekend.. back at work now, figured I'd fill everyone in on my weekend.
*fukhouse* on friday was pretty decent even though Morgan Page put me to sleep, but the rest was good. Finally found the back room at systems (after 2 years of looking for it.. guess its not always opened). The place was full of techno heads it was great.
for saturday night, the plan was originally to check out the Dose party at the warehouse, instead of buying tickets, we did the mistake of relying on a friend who knows a DJ that spins at the Acid Lounge who was suppost to get us on the guestlist for the dose party. obviously that didnt' work out.
Keeping it short, I figured that Nic's friend must of put us on Guv's list instead, so we walked a few feet to the guv lineup and sure enough there was no problem there.
The weirdness starts here, me and and my 3 friends from TO get in fine, but the bouncer stops my friend from mtl saying, sorry you can't get in, we have a dress code here........ WTF, I've been to guv litterally dozens of time, and never ONCE has teh bouncer ever said that to me or anyone I was with.
fyi, my friend was dressed with proper runners, an italian team soccer jersy and (nice) track pants, he's an mtl afterhour regular and looks like he belongs. Personally, I had dirty runners, a tee shirt and very wrinkled nylon pants (no problem there).. other 3 people were dressed slightly more casual
All along the bouncer was very polite about all this, he said to my friend to get a change of pants and come see him directly, usually that wouldnt be a problem, but when your a guy and on a road trip, you don't necessarly think of these things and pack very lightly, so that was the end of the night. (ended up playnig capcom vs. snk2 on ps2 until the wee hours)
finally, I dont what the was going on, but HOLY were the women hot at guv.. and hell we didn't even make it inside.. I'm not in TO very much in the summer, but quite honnestly the quality was on par to Montreal and NYC women (note: refering to women in the lines to the drink and charlies)..

| You see we've always known that there are very hot chicks in the scene here in Toronto, but we don't talk about it. Why? well the less we talk the less guys will invade the city and the more girls for us.. |

does anyone here feel that girls in the city seem to be more paranoid talking to strangers or sensitive when someone makes convo at a club/lounge as an attempt to hit on .. ?

nah, it's the track pants, they've always had a policy about that. I've seen lots of people not let in because of track pants. The funniest thing I ever saw in line at Guv was on a Saturday when one of the bouncers didn't let someone in because the person had rolled his baggy jeans up and was wearing a bandana. The reason the bouncer gave was "sorry, no r n b style here" <--------LOL!! WTF IS THAT??? :haha: :haha: :haha: |

Honestly..some girls at clubs are just tight/stuckup
i'm an azn guy and when I go with my gino friends to places like money/palazzo/plastique I get that sometimes....some of the "ginas" or european girls just like to stick to their own kind and they probably don't expect guys like me trying to make some conversation
but then again...sometimes I get real nice outgoing girls were just shoot the no prob
regardless of everything above, some girls are just tight cuz they think they're all THAT!!! then my friends just takes care of them by making them feel like !!!!!! hahaha then he says to me "bro, i'll bet she'll never be stuck up again to anyone!" :happy2: :happy2:

man talk about hostile puns on TA these days .. what's with the edgy vibe ?? lotta ppl here seem like they wanna own others these days can't even have a serious discussion anymore without someone trying to be funny with a smartass remark all the time.. :P
anyways yea tru say .. if u ever see any interracial dating between whites and Asians itz most commonly a white dude with an Asian woman .. Asian chicks seem to be a commodity these days , seein how almost every news chan has an Asian anchor woman. and as for white chicks/gina'z yea they rarely go for Asian guys ... who knows
again .. i'm only basing this stuff on observation. if anyone wants to do some indepth research feel free to prove me wrong.. |

Oh joy that the World Wide Web is quickly becoming indispensable to our existence for I've forever had the urge to vent my annoyances on an international scale about those so-called Rice Boys, of which there are tons and tons and tons here in southern California and, so I am told, throughout North America, unfortunately. Vroom vrrrooom! Now, I offer a uniquely Asian female viewpoint on this ever growing subculture of eraser-headed losers, so listen up! After reading this you will no longer wonder why so many of us jump ship and go for white guys.
I speak on behalf of all attractive, intelligent, goal-oriented Asian women out there when I say I have way, way, way better things to do than sit in the passenger seat alongside a wanna-be-hard Rice Boy and his 30-plus entourage of like-minded friends on a Friday or Saturday night. Just who do you think you are zipping around in those slammed Japanese sportsters and trying, though failing miserably, to look and be cool, all the meanwhile disturbing the peace and quiet in the process? Do you honestly think your machismo front is fooling the public? No, seriously? Do you? Well, think again!
The truth is, the lengths you Rice Boys go to slam your base-model Civics, Sentras, Integras, and Eclipses, then conceitedly showcase them to the public, are so ridiculous that I, and numerous others as fellow Asians, feel positively embarrassed for you! Just what do those tacky white racing stripes, oversized spoilers, booming sound systems, and pitch black windows, among the many, many, many other annoying, pointless additions, do to enhance your value as a person? Your expensive toy will prove utterly useless just a few years from now when suddenly you are forced to say hello to the real world and finally abandon your meaningless little hobby. Wake up, people!
What fun it will be to watch you get left in the dust as other, more respectable Asians successfully brave the ugly world as adults, leaving you to wish you were involved in somewhat less idiotic activities as youths. Yeah, that's right. You will at some point be forced to get real lives and part with your pathetic Rice Boy existence, but by then it will likely be too late to redeem what could have been. I suppose those of us with real aspirations should be grateful for this only further opens the doors of opportunity for us. For shame though, isn't it, that those long hours you spent carefully perfecting speedracer-mobile will be all for naught! Well, don't come crying to us once reality gives you a cold slap in the face. All well have to offer to little loser you is a smug "I told you so."
