Random Secret Jungle Party - Through a friend of a friend, we found out about a private party for 200 in a mayan style temple about 20min away. Secret map, passwords, special meeting locations - the works. Seemed sketchy at first, but sounded too interesting to pass up. In the end, Lee Burridge, Jamie Jones, and Audiofly played the night away to a couple hundred people in the most far out building i've ever been in. Completely blown away, fire circle on the dancefloor and everyone on the same page. Don't wanna say too much more. |
Wow!! Now that is something I would die to experience!! |

Steve Angello @ Blue Parrot - puke! worst music at BPM, and his constant jesus poses/screaming into a mic made it all worse.

The weather was pretty much perfect.
It didn't rain once, it was mainly sunny with very little clouds every day that I was there (2nd - 9th). The only cloudy day was on the 9th and even on the 9th it was still sunny for most of the day. The temps were in the mid to high 20's. Coldest day was 25, warmest was 29. The only thing that I did not like was the early sunset (around 5:30) but I mean it is January.
I think we got SUPER LUCKY with the weather though and would not expect it to be like that every year. In fact, apparently the weather was horrible last year, people wearing jackets to Kool Beach even.

Really? I think your friends are wimps :p I thought the water was pretty warm, especially for January. The water felt warmer then the water in Miami in March.

Depends on what kind of place you want to stay in? Do you want to be within walking distance of all the venues? Do you want to be right on the beach etc? Are you more interested in an all inclusive or a condo? etc.
From what I heard (for realzies :p) "treats" are hard to come by, and when found pricey. Unless you want to trust some shady Mexican's that prob dont care too much if they rip of some gringos :p. I also heard someone say that the blow was really good (again hearsay :p) and priced about the same as what you would pay for here. Happy?
:wtf: |

I think the best parties of BPM were the afterparties at Michealangelos
Rented Villa.
Everyone from Carola to Burridge to Paul Ritch to Seth Troxler
just about every bpm djwere fighting to play on that mini system.
What an epic afterparty mashdown pretty much everynight.
Eventually the Cops shut down the whole street because of the Crazies. |
