You know, if you play the first ten seconds of the video the OP posted any time during the first minute or so of We Came In Peace, it actually sounds pretty good. :p

The original Firedance is however far better :P

And another one of those nostalgia filled "Old school trance" or "Real trance" threads, where mostly old tracks are found to be the pinnacle of trance because they helped to shape it.
Honestly, this annoys me as much as the cracker-trance threads.
Stop making your opinion of trance the only correctly defining one.
As much as i love and like trance, it's cracker-trance and "old school"/"real" trance that i actually dislike for being too boring for my tastes.

Yes, i have a different definition of what i consider good trance and what not, and while i do like some of the old and generally appraised tracks, i dislike most of them for either not being my style, boring and/or outright dreck.
Just like with all other trance, btw.

Down with these threads as well. :whip:

The OP isn't requesting quality old Trance releases in the spirit of suggesting that they're superior to new ones.

Perhaps you've been too exposed to the types of threads you're referring to such that you're unable to identify a simple request for good music of a certain age- which is what this thread is.

Just being too jaded by the flood of such request threads.
Hater has to hate. :D

Thanks for this thread! It helped me greatly in finding an idea to complete this track of mine. I think old trance is the template for everything that is new, or it is not trance, it is just not! Well, I hope to make a new sound in trance, and that it will still be trance! :)

I know what I will do next, but maybe you will like to listen?

Not much to add to this, thanks.

Probably not what you're looking for, but nonetheless.
