Its a nice looking synth but I still think a hardware synth without dedicated controls for most functions is lame.
In its current form I think its worth about half the price. I just don't understand why they cripple a good engine with such poor controls... |

| I agree with you completely Kit. If there's one thing I love about hardware, it's all the damn knobs, sliders and buttons. I don't see a need for a crippled controller. |

Plus there is leds that indicates the knob positions. |

There's been another ongoing "rumor" thread over the Slim Phatty over on GS for over a month now. - nice to see that it's starting to materialize. I think the Moog folks saw how fast the Mopho and Tetra were flying out the doors and decided they wanted a piece of the "<$1000 compact analogue" pie. BTW, NovaMusik has it priced at $795:
