Probably awesomz though

Chainable for polyphany too
Ravist
going to cost about $900. I like the size of it, compact and uber-good looking!

Its a nice looking synth but I still think a hardware synth without dedicated controls for most functions is lame.

In its current form I think its worth about half the price. I just don't understand why they cripple a good engine with such poor controls...

I agree with you completely Kit. If there's one thing I love about hardware, it's all the damn knobs, sliders and buttons. I don't see a need for a crippled controller.

i think i would much rather get this than a blofeld. change of plans!

Its works very well let me tell you. If it wasnt like this the price would be doubled. And then there is the Voyager.
Plus there is leds that indicates the knob positions.

tempting but just a bit too pricey for me

There's been another ongoing "rumor" thread over the Slim Phatty over on GS for over a month now. - nice to see that it's starting to materialize. I think the Moog folks saw how fast the Mopho and Tetra were flying out the doors and decided they wanted a piece of the "<$1000 compact analogue" pie. BTW, NovaMusik has it priced at $795:
