tough once you get to that age. I feel for people that end up in that position.
my mother was and executive level employee for a high end national clothing retailer. worked there for over 30 years. was laid off like 5 years ago because it was cheaper for them to hire someone 20 years younger. took her 3 years to find a new job, because of her age and experience. no one wants to pay a 60 year old 100k+ a year for a job then can get a 30 year old to do for half as much. |
