What robby say's does make alot of sense.. Try and limit your vsts and samples though, you'll spend way too much time going through them all.. On saying that like i would recommend Omnisphere.. It is massive, you will spend so many hours just going through the sounds, but chances are if you've a sound in mind, its in there somewhere. It has so many neat things, watch the demo's and tutorials on it, there's quite a few..

As iv already mentioned, watch the future music and computer music videos, you'll see how the pro's work and you will learn so much from them.. even if its a different daw you should be to translate it to your own..
