| I look at Tiesto now and wonder what happened to 'DJ' Tiesto. |

| No one else thinks the whole "DJ" prefix is out dated? |

Just to add on the hate train...
HE IS THE WORST MC EVER!!
He literally verbatim said on the mic what Steve Angello does trying to hype the crowd, but when he said it at Vanity NO ONE ING CARED!! No one said anything or did anything, Tiesto noticed that and then lifted his voice even more trying harder. And yes no one still cared lol

glad he is on your side of the genre, just makes you guys look bad. aha!
this was a good move for the trance scene, I would be psyched as an up coming trance artist. |

| I totally agree with him that a lot of it sounds too similar. At least he want to do sometihng to make his music stand out. |

I'm not the biggest fan of Tiesto's new direction. I also think it's funny that he's super old but hangs out with SHM and other DJs trying to act like he's still a young party animal.
But at the end of the day, I liked his Kaleidoscope tour and I like the he plays in his sets. He doesn't just play random - his housey sound still sounds very much like his trancey sound, especially the vocals he chooses.
And at the end of the day, the guy has succeeded and made trance huge, I can understand him wanting to move on and do something else. I love trance but I also could never see myself traveling the world and playing it for 15 years straight. At some point I would want to try something new. Ferry Corsten would be an example of someone who deviates, maybe not a lot, but somewhat from his traditional sound. Armin is an example of someone who doesn't.
So call me crazy but I respect Tiesto, even though I don't enjoy all of the new music he plays. also he still plays trance no matter what he says haha. |

Trends. Kinda like when you see your friend with an iPhone and you have to run out and get one. Everyone else is doing it, so I'm gonna too.
As I stated earlier. Anytime an artist says he/she are done with a particular scene, they always go back. |

| very sad he changed style... but then again it became all about the marketing, selling shoes, usb drivers, and all sort of things, just a brand name to sell and make money I guess. |

Tiesto is not super old! Besides you are only as old as you feel! More power too him for wanting to still be out there and have fun! |
