What an amazing night!! I swore I'd never go to Guv again on halloween, but thank god this was an all-access event!!!
Got in to catch the last hour of so or Carlo Lio. He was played really good, but really was too busy checking out all the awesome costumes. Some of the costumes were just amazing! Who won the grand prize anyway?
Anyway, onto the music. Steve Lawler owned! He played a dynamite set! He had me moving the whole time and absolutely loved what he was playing! I was never very much into his recorded mixes, but when this man plays live, he really plays awesome stuff. Amazing job by Lawler!!
Carl Cox though. Where are the words to describe what this guy did last night?? He absolutely MURDERED it last night! Hands down, best Techno set I've ever heard! And I've been partying for a long time :p Unbelievable this guy is, totally relentless. There was a time I had to piss so bad but I held it for like an hour because I didn't want to miss a single second of his set! Just mind-blowing!!! My body is really paying for it today, but it was worth every penny, every second! Nothing mainstream about him at all, his flow was just perfect and you never knew what kind of beat he was gonna drop next. Every time a new beat dropped was like another hit of adrenaline that just me going and going. I don't even think I'm doing it justice by describing how his set was, I'm just sooooooooo happy I decided to go last minute, because I don't think I'm going to hear a set like that in a really long time!!
Good seeing everyone again. Again all the costmes were great, can't wait to see pics from Jay and Shaya. Time for some RubA535 for my aching muscles :toothless

seriously one of the best nights i've had at GUV ever. The pace was just relentless all night! Carlo lio obviously killed it with an opening set and lawler was just unbelievable. i was expecting him to be good, but he exceeded my expectations
coxy was unreal as well...his set started off a bit slow but i think he was just teasing cause after about 15-20 mins the crowd was going wild and it didnt stop for the rest of the night. MANS A GENIUS
and i couldn't stop laughing all night, great costumes all around!

LAwler did pwn 150%.....I loved all the candles in koolhaus hanging from the top.....was a just a really great vibe, I think this night takes the number one spot for most fun at the guv

Carlo i thought played a perfect warm up set for lawler.
Lawler was outstanding from Intro to Close. It was possibly one of the best sets i've seen from him personaly. His Love for Toronto and our love for him is quite obvious.
