so i am 19 years old right now...

and so far for me..drinking just takes away the anxiety of things..like questions you wouldnt normally ask your friends..which is weird i know..but i just noticed...im not an addict or anything..i just enjoy it socially once in awhile like any other person..

I used to drink to get drunk, now i drink to get buzzed or just to actually enjoy the taste of the drink.

Everyone drinks for different reasons.

As long as you're not drinking because you feel the need to escape your terrible life and you chug chug chug and shoot shoot shoot til you black out... you're fine.

I'll drink to enhance shenanigans, to feel braver, or to unwind.

my neighbor and I kept drinking everclear and gatorade on friday; polished that off
polished off all the beer
polished off the rest of the barardi 151 and then went on to wine

I don't even know why I drink; alcohol is a poison; and on top of that it is a depressant

no wonder why when I drink a load I either RAGE or start crying unexplainable

I broke my mixer on friday; (RAGED)

drinking just isn't worth it in the end

I suggest drinking green tea anytime you think about drinking
or drink water
or have some Kava root mixed with green tea; that way you get some weird but anti-depressant with a numbing feeling on the mouth
your body will love you more in the long run

P.S. Drinking gets old and it kills your liver and other organs if you consume way to much; unfortunately some people do not get to experience how drinking becomes old because they won't live that long

You need a girlfriend to beat the out of you and set you straight.

It's all for the best in the long run.
You want this.

I agree because that will give me practice on keeping my pimp hand strong!

It got old for me. I drank rather heavily for about 6 years, and now I don't drink at all. Personally, alcohol doesn't taste good to me, and after having studied the effects of alcohol on the body, I just don't have the interest in it. I can't justify spending a bunch of money on a substance that only makes my body suffer.

There is also plenty of research that shows the positive effects of alcohol, if used in moderation.

Of course if you abuse something it's going to you up. It's a pretty simple concept. :p
