i dont think there is a guest list for 2nites event. |

Damn! I wasn't sure if there was one. I went on the nightlifeguru website and it says it has a guest list for tonight's event but it doesn't give any details as to what time you have to be there by. There is a bunch of us that are going and that signed up on the list. |

on nightlifeguru...for 2nites event, i only see a "win 1 out or 10 tickets", not a free guestlist? |

imo they were great!!! they got on at like 12:30 i think and played til like 3:30..
their set kept me engaged the whole time and was badass to me, i loved it. Played their big tracks of the moment and a lot of classics, even played "Should Have Known" (Wippenberg Remix) which was a great surprise.
So sweet to meet Nic & Bossi afterwards too!!!! ;)
One thing that happened though was during their remix of "I See You" one of them accidentally pressed something which started the song over right in the middle of the main riff, being that that is one of my fav's of 2010, i was heartbroken, but then they quickly beatmatched another track in there and kept their set moving again, then minutes later as that song, (Susana - Frozen "Nic Chagall Remix") is climaxing they bring back "I See You" where they accidentally cut it off minutes before right on que, like it was what they meant to do all along! It was epic to me, pure class, and made that song even better to me!
i thought it was epic, anyone else have any other opinions? |

so i wasnt planning on going. i had my company xmas party from 8-1am, but i had to leave around 11 to go to some new lounge in sf for a friends birthday party. there, they played electro house, and i was like ehhhh....pass please. i used the excuse that my sister was at ruby skye to leave the not so great lounge and headed my way to ruby skye. well, i wasnt lying, my sister was at ruby skye. neways, got into a cab, arrived around 1230ish, paid 25 bucks at the door each with my brother.
there was a good turn out of course. i couldnt really listen to every song of the whole set, cuz my brother and i were trying to snake our way around people to find my sister. after 45 minutes of trying, we gave up, and just stood at the very front of the stage, enjoying the music. i wrote on my cell phone for nic to read "we shook your hands exactly one year ago in amsterdam"...but he wasnt accepting any cell phones at that moment. we left again to look for my sister for 15 minutes, but then i saw nic looking at cell phones to read. quickly went to the front, but i was too short to reach. so this tall guy to my left helped me out by handing nic my cell phone. nic read it, and pointed to my brother and i gave us both a thumbs up with a smile. woo hoo! that totally made my night.
conclusion: great night! |
