Good morning everyone.

Hey Robby - where is my bass line lol lol lol.

Actually I would love to listen to any of your (small, long, short, wide, lol) production and not for fun but to have better idea about your style and genre you prefer to work with.

Cheers.

i didn't expected a vote nor i think i deserve, the track is not finished... and there is some out of sync but it's not the lead, are the hats and this is not intended, they're moved on the daw. :clown: i am disaster

at least you finished. Don't be so hard on yourself. These people are just being s considering you weren't promoting it or asking for feedback. Not sure how other industries are but in music, people will not hire someone that doesn't finish things. They will always go for perhaps the lest talented but more dependable guy with the good coke connection all the time. And that nonsense about robby. That is just his own self hatred projected on to others to try and make him feel good about his craft. Textbook behaviour of someone that is insecure about their work. I mean why would he even say that. I have the best track you have ever heard but I am never going to show anyone. Absurd. His temper is quite bad.

Rodri, everyone has to start somewhere. You did the right thing by entering the contest to hear feedback, as harsh as it is.

Granted, with time and experience, you will become better, sometimes you just need to learn who on this forum who to tune into and who to tune out of

Rodri,I said that before in a different thread:

"You all guys are great, have talent and drive to do/become who you really want to be - it is just a matter of time, hard work, vision, dedication and mind set to get it done - just keep pushing, keep working hard and never be discourage by anyone or anything a long the way - good things will happen - you are the driver of your destiny."

So don't worry my friend, it is just a beginning.

Cheers from Seattle guys.

Thank you... i am just a bit stubborn and prefer to crash against a wall than changing things, i was sure the sound is loud but instead of decreasing the master and start balancing the sounds i kept raising it and making it crunchier. The choice of lead sound is most personal, i like it although i think some sounds would fit better, and the offkey note... everybody told me "this is offkey" i knew it but just got used to it and thought "ain't that bad" i am my worst enemie.

Still i have a lot to learn and need more experience, i'm exploring all the genres and i think prog.trance is what i am best at, i think the first part before the breakdown with some extra tweaks of the version i last posted is decent, just need to work on the second part which is where all is screwed, in fact the melody is simply too long, i tend to do things that i know are wrong but as i said i am stubborn and keep doing it bad.

I think i should look for another guy in my city and start coproducing, with someone to clip my wings and a 2nd opinion things would flow smoother. But well i think i don't regret joining the forum at all, i've learnt some things from you and i think i'll keep learning.

Entrying the contest is now a positive input i think, i know better now where to stick harder and my weakness and if there is a contest in the future i would join, i had fun and acquired more experience which is simply enough for me, also if Mad for Brad is busy and can't provide material /organize i think there are loyaltie free midis out there that could be used and come up with decent work.
