ive been doing my drums all in EXS24 lately...used to do it all in audio and was such a waste of time...ill still use audio to move claps a little forward sometimes if needed. |

never really got into it, im more into just finding a good sample to start with and then processing it in the channel strip...just my way of working. |

I don't use Logic, but if I did I would use the free sampler Logic comes with and the piano roll for each of my drum sounds.
You can do it in any DAW, I use Reaper Son! |

Fastest for me is just drag and drop samples in arrangement and then copy paste . Ultrabeat is cool, but i cant use it fast. |

I prefer to load all my drums into samplers, process them separately, then arrange them via the piano roll.
Mind you, that's how I've always worked - probably force of habit. |
