The definition of awesome.
That is all. :)

Thought he started out decent, but around 2-230 he started slaying it. At one point he went all deep driving prog style on our asses. I floor whored til 4, then called it a night. Also the best set I've heard from Lee, technically it was absolutely flawless. Crowd was great too - had a lot of fun warming things up :)

Yeah there was some serious puppet mastery going on in the last few hours. Definitely in the top 3 best Lee nights (in TO) for me.
LEE BURRIDGE
hi.

firstly, thanks for all the comments.

it's true to say that i'm not everyones dj. i've always been the same way. i purposely take the energy levels up and down though my set. it's not my cup of tea to hear a dj that just plays a consistent thumping energy all night. when i get in a roller coaster i like it to go up and down, round and round, faster and slower. but that's just me. thanks for giving me a second chance anyway intangible.

so, the reason i was replying in the first place was to discuss the sound. weirdly i felt i kept the sound levels down this time. the channels weren't peaking at all on the mixer as i remember hearing the same complaint about the volume and bass last time i played. i even had someone come speak to me a few times to give me an idea of what the dancefloor was sounding like. it's impossible in the booth to gauge the sound on the floor. i suggest having a chat with stef or joel regarding the sound being too boomy as it does affect your experience of the music.

i've always loved playing footwork and actually really dig the crowd. i don't have any hair to be touched in a creepy manner so guess i don't have to deal with this sort of behavior :) if you ever come back to hear me intangible (which i guess is unlikely) then come hide in the booth with me. the only weird person in there is me and i'm usually busy.

so, thanks for all the feedback good, bad and ugly. i embrace it all. music and the experience of going out and listening to it is such a personal experience and we all demand something a little different. we also all think we have the best taste in music which causes all sorts of reactions when we don't get exactly what we want. that's why i love it so much! keep loving what you love but keep trying out new stuff as well.

my only complaint about footwork last weekend wass that jennie didn't come and speak to me. thanks jennie! hater :)

until next time. much love
