| Just at salad bar type things in cafeterias. Otherwise it's not that common. |

| Almost every single Chinese and Japanese buffet I know of has this system. We also had this system with the salad bar at a place I used to work. |

This, though the one across the street from my office is only $5.49, I think. It's the same price for their hot dishes (chicken tenders, general tso's chicken, etc.) as their salad & fruit bar. What irritated me about this system is paying that rate for rice, though. |

Speedy's infront of my job is like 8 bux. You aren't eating for less than 12$. I guarantee it.

| When I was in Japan every Thursday my buddy's and I would go to this Mongolian restaurant and you'd pay by weight. Other than that I haven't seen this anywhere else here in the states. |
