I reckon he's probably saying that, amongst the pilgrim stoners that go to Ameccasterdam, there's probably a fair share of drug users that may OD on other drugs. Like cocaine, heroine, and cappuccino.

And don't you dare say you can't OD on hemp, I saw this policeman once overdose on space cakes!

I most definitely was not hahaha,

i'm talking about drug use in general, since the legalisation of weed is indicative of the more open attitude they have towards drugs (safe using, instead of completely ignoring it which leads to people using dangerously or irresponsibly etc as is the case in most other countries)

i can see how i said it would make me sound like a retard though :stongue:

Because it raises a ridiculous amount of tax revenue for the tourism industry, which can then be spent doing other things? Especially now, while there's global financial instability.

Make no mistake, an awful lot of businesses would go under if Holland's (or even Amsterdam's) tourism industry dies. A couple of hundred 'coffee shops' for starters. Let alone the baked goods industry! Dutch pastries FTW!

http://english.aljazeera.net/news/e...4460388609.html :') It's so the funny that he's actually forced to keep one of those members, because if he kicks him out of the party and the dude decides to keep his elected seat, then then government doesn't have a majority anymore. :p
ontheblock
this will hopefully not happen, although the government there on my last visit had made some unexpected changes (banning mushrooms) from the year before. come on dutch dont let us down, your the great hope of the human spirit and freedom !

sure they make money off it, but there are so many people that can't handle themselves when it comes to drugs, one person is all it takes to something over for many

Yes, I know that's all it takes. I'm assuming that's why they're doing this - because of the crime and "disturbances" created from it, like it says in the article :p

I'm just saying, they're going to lose a lot of cash from this, if it goes through. A lot of businesses in A'Dam will go under as a result, which is poorly timed considering the global economy right now.
