club grand opening parties with headliners is always a bad idea. I have never seen it work out

The flyer is bugging me. The white border is intercepted by the D36 logo. Couldn't they just lower the logo a bit so the border can complete itself?

Guys,
You shouldn't go to District 36 because PvD had trouble getting in at Fur in 2004. Expect the same thing to happen to Lee Burridge. He will get scanned by the TSA body scanners at the airports to get into the club, and will probably have trouble like PVD did. Or maybe because of his sneakers.
You also shouldn't go because of the alignment of the flyer border.
Proper opening nights are done when there's no marketing done, a no name DJ, and a flyer that doesn't defy photoshop logic.

i for one, am thrilled they're finally getting this place open with the good karma of Lee & Danny on board!!! sure to be a magical night :)

i have faith that the crowd will be good- and as for security... happens. if the security is edgy these first few months there's surely a reason for it. |
