I miss ULTRAWORLD's "Day after Thanksgiving" raves in D.C. Armory

Yeah I remember these parties, some of the best times I've had as well :D
I remember though that specific night that PvD played at the Armory, Tiesto played that same night after at Glow...And that was actually my first time seeing Tiesto!
Wow that was such a great day/night of music...Thanks for reminding me about them haha :toothless |

hahahahaha! LMAo, yeah - forgot about that! I actually called Glow and asked what time Taucher was starting. Dude on the other line was like: :/ huh? U mean Tiesto? I'm like - yea, one of those "T" fukers.
Shows u how much of a fan I was back then. All I remember is taking a cab from DC armory and trying to appear normal on the way, while my jaws were clinching like ing mad. I staggered past the bouncers in Glow, they just waved me in, even tho I could barely stand.
The rest of the evening was blur. At some point I think I was passed out near one of the exit doors and saw a huge black bouncer dude grab a guy who was tripping balls next to me and throw him down the flight of stairs. How the guy didn't fall and break his neck is still a mystery to me. that sobered me up enough to get the out of there and grab a cab back to hotel.
That was definitely intense evening. |

edit: OH !!!!! this was THE EVENT that got me into trance!!!!!!! I was there with my X, a ing sexy little vixxen. ing tiny little gymnast I could spin from ing against the wall to 69 like a ing twig. She was like 99 pounds and I could benchpress her on my face.
Anywho, we're both trying X for the first time. Both take two strange pills - Mitsubishi. About an hour passes, I feel nothing. So, I go to my friend and I'm like: we got jipped, those were fake. She goes and gets one more pill to split. So we both take half. Now mind, I'm 2.5x her weight and we're both taking same 1.5 a pill....
Fast forward 30 minutes, we're both dancing like ing idiot. Yours trully has his shirt over his head screaming "I AM THE GREAT CORNHOLIO!! I WANT TEEPEE FOR MY BUNGHOLE!!!! ROLLLIOOOO CORRRRRNHOLLIOOOOO!" and so on. I clench my jaws so hard, one of my teeth breaks. Another 30 or so minutes we're hungging and kissing.... next thing I know she's straddling me and I'm fingering her to pumping trance music. Holly ing shivvers. We are making out so ing hot, people are stopping and staring.
Anywho, we were sucking each other's face for like what seemed like 15 minutes. When I stopped I asked what time it was. It was about 5 hours after we took the pill. We were sucking face for about 4 hours!!!! :crazy:
ing crazy crazy . Moby ing killed me - I never had such a rush since. That was the absolute best moment of my clubbing life, I'm glad I experienced it. |

hmm i came at the end of that era...despite all my events, i've never seem tiesto live. as much as ive heard about him & his legendary time, whilst i was breaking the bubble, i told myself i'd only see him somewhere HUGE...missed him purposely throughout my years and after 9 yrs i believe this is the perfect time to catch/experience him. |
