They did finance and fight a lot of the war of independence though... and if they dont like that the yanks can always give the statue of liberty back :p
Quite like french fashion, cosmetics, perfume, food... the decadent things they do with chocolate in deserts. Aside from that they're lazy shiftless bastards that make some terrible cars.

Youre sure giving the yanks a lot of credit thinking they can remember things that far back :D

Also music and film. But yes, aside from that they are lazy shiftless bastards that make some terrible cars...
Oh about cars, have you seen the new Citroen DS3 by any chance ♥
Lilith
Yeah, not so much the music, but definitely film they excel. For those of you not familiar with French films, chances are its already ripped off a French (or European) film maker by some over-budget Hollywood hack that never had an original idea.

Its a largish European hatchback.
I know spotty young men think they're very attractive but they really don't do anything for me. Chances are, its also probably front wheel drive which just makes it whitegoods.

Im willing to take a hot hatch against your big heavy aussie muscle on any tight track any day of the week :D
Though i realise that showing a small european hatchback was a mistake, small hatches work in europe and perhaps japan and thats about it.
So in the spirit of V8 how about this then :D

Honeyrabbit killed my V8 years ago... well actually she got back ended by an idiot in a large 4wd and then it proceeded to destroy a late model Mercedes with its nose.
Goodbye 400hp tuned up engine
My current 'fun' car is an GTO MR spec Twin turbo

Mines the later model of that one, its also about 100kg lighter because they threw out a ton of technical rubbish.

My friend has one of these...the only problem is even my tiniest diesel hatch is actually faster in the real world because his never seems to work :D Seriously, he bought it 10 years ago, and for the amount of money he alredy spent mending it he could have bought a brand new M3 (which is what he was looking at before he went for the GT). Currently it has been in the shop since april, but he still loves the car and isnt willing to sell it :p It was about the same with everyone else i knew that had a 3000GT (what they were called over here) so what im trying to say is, congrats on buying the one that actually works :D
Though that thing is a cow, his is an earlier model than yours i guess so it weights a full 1700kg. Not really something one is comfortable with when youre trying to hit an apex just right. If i wasnt too old to look respectable in a radioactive green Focus RS Mk 2, it would be mine! Ive been having wet dreams about that car since the time i had a test drive in it :D 300Hp, FWD but still as sharp as the blade of a fine japanese sword :D
Always sad to hear that a loved one (car) died due to no fault of your own though.

we have a love hate thing going with the french. We saved them in the war, and they repay us by giving illegal immigrants an easy passage to the UK. So we love to hate them :p

The French are by far the most despicable nation of them all.
