Wow, that sucks.

Look, Insomniac, the people that buy the VIP tix are the ones who don't bring pills in, don't up the event, and don't put bad press in the LA Times. Screwing them is ing counter-productive. You need to pamper the VIP people, not cut back their ing benefits.

EDC Vegas is gonna be a cluster. I really have no desire to go now. In line at Avalon tonight, there were some peeps talking about how "awesome" EDC Vegas was gonna be. They were all e-tards who kept saying "I hope Deadmau5 is there!".

Have fun with that.

As for Digweed, he was awesome. Left Avalon at 7am and he was still spinning.

So who caught Richie Hawtin? Was he awesome?

This is directed to trance fans:

Simon is the man! Tech bombs the whole set. Loving it. If you don't like him you have ing aids in your brain. I mean honestly? How much vocal, melodic "progressive fake ass electro" trance can you stand in one night? LOL I mean honestly. Now I can't wait for a handy dandy to come on saying how great cosmic gate's/moore's set was (maybe because they only know cosmics track listings because they play the top 40 of trance? hahaha) and then say how Simon is too fast and repetitive.... Play in fire. Anyway on a side note, did I hear CL drop a dubstep song or two? I hope I'm wrong.

Great production Insomniac and good way to handle lines, at least when I was in line. On another side note, I felt like I was in Mexico last night hahahahahahaha. Is raving cool to the younger Mexican crowd now a days? Or has Cali got that bad? I said it

other than the vip the party was sik. the production in the trance was better than nocturnal. sets of the night had to go to simon and christopher lawrence. simon kept interacting with the crowd. cosmic gate was too dreamy im kinda over them.

Um you are in California, minority is the majority now hispanics including mexicans, mexican-americans etc. You should know EDM is world wide, from South America to Middle-east. BTW Mexico City has a huge following for EDM, even when it died down here in the states it was and still is thriving. Ignorance reigns. See my hot ass wife in my sig, yeah she is Mexican.. era Mexican-America (full blood, born here). There I said it. :)

Mexicans love EDM and always had. Just ask some of the big DJ's what one of their favorite countries to spin at is and they will tell you Mexico. The vibe is way different.

You'll be surprised who some of the people behind the scene are. Ever heard of Global Trend? That's an LA company that does sound for a lot of big events & promoters including Insomniac and that big Armin party in Downtown LA. The owner is, yeap, you guessed it, Mexican!

Here in LA the scene has pretty much always been divided. I've been to a few mexican EDM parties here and I usually only see Insomniac promoting there. I never seen any other non mexican EDM promoters except HARD once.

David Guetta just played at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City this weekend. The stadium holds 135,000 people! I'm not sure he sold it out, but that's a HUGE en place. One of the biggest stadiums in the world!

I can go on forever but I wont.

Yeah, check this video out. This is from a Mexican EDM party at the Conga Room in LA. The DJ's are Sussie 4 from Mexico. I took this video last year on a en Wednesday!

I think Josh has had the best review so far :)

Overall, I had a good time. left around 11 to head back to LA and checked out The Belasco and then Avalon.

Fun night. A little tired today though. Medication time ;)
DjWoody
Billy... How was the Belasco? Did it sell out?

Anyone catch Hawtin? I'm bummed out I missed him. :( He needs a proper Plastikman solo show here in LA! And no, Coachella doesn't count.

To me the experience was great overall. I like the waterbottle idea, saved me a lot of money. I was able to get around to all the stages that I wanted to without waiting in line. Andy Moor, Simon, Fresh, Netsky, CL, Cosmic Gate, Dirtyphonics, Noisia, and then Kaskade.

I'm really glad the entrance was very organized and not too much waiting in line. 15 min for me since I arrived around 5 ish. Sooo much better than that cluster at TAO.

HOw was netsky? he was the only reason i would have went (If i lived in LA)
