I understand T5 might need to close @ 2 but to F'ing bitch out and play till 1 or even 1:30 is NFG!
If hes going to play another gig he should at least play a full 4hrs from 10-2 and an encore or 2 and then go somewhere else.

Guessed as much...10 pm was wayyy too early for PvD to come on....2 hour set only :mad:
I can only hope that Serge knocks it out of the park with a real good warm-up. |

i was actually thinking of doing that, but ah well, it IS terminal 5 and i got them at the 25$ presale so i guess id still go. its more for the curiosity to see how the old EXIT is, and HOPEFULLY he might throw down a decent set cuz of the memories. but then again, maybe not.
Either way, completely done with him after this random event. i havent been to one of his parties since December 5 2008 anyway. |

its a real kick in the face especially since i got the tickets and bus tickets for tonight cause i never thought it would end at 2, and my bus doesn't leave til 830am....i really dont know if its worth wandering around nyc all night or scrambling to another club or trying to find an afterparty...maybe i should just cut my losses.

in case anyone is deciding to head to Provocateur tonight for PvD, here is a convo with a friend of mine who works at Plunge Lounge at the Gansevoort Hotel (where Provocateur is located):
Me: will you be at the Provocateur/Gansevoort this Sat? My fave DJ from Germany is slated to play there I heard! Let me know!!
Friend: I'll be working Saturday, but I only believe he's playing in Prov

Friend: Provocatuer has an esteemed guestlist for entry, and quite frankly, the owners are very discriminatory at the door. they've denied access to celebrities just cuz the owner "didn't feel like having their company". Minimum tables start from $2-5 K. For the roof, we're always cover free and guestlist free. holla.
