Was cleaning my house and found a cd with some tracks made when I was about 13. (10 years ago, and I gave up production because of school)
This was kindof an epic find for me, as I had looked and looked forever for said CD to no avail, which meant that my initial dabblings were sadly lost forevers. There was another track on there as well but probably not worth sharing...
Ended up taking the instrument set from a demo that I really liked in FL studio 3 and made my own thing from it. You can hear the blatant use of the boo bass lol.
Anyone else still holding on to their first tracks for nostalgia's sake?
Just a little instrumental number. I had no real idea what EQ or compression was etc and it was done on some £15 PC speakers!
I'd had a bit of piano and classical training, been in a rock/pop band in my youth etc so at least had a bit of a head start on something.
Kenny Rogers
my first track from 2003, made after a couple of month learning Reason. Boy did that program help me express myself, my earliest production are ing aggressive stuff lol: [[ LINK REMOVED ]]
Kysora
I made my first finished track after getting a copy of Absynth, I just meddled around with FL Keys before this.
I have no idea how I went from that to uplifting trance, haha. A lot of my earlier tracks were chillout/downtempo, even some ambient.
Kenny Rogers
think im gonna upload all my old unreleased material to a soundcloud account, its quite abit if funny stuff really lol. i truly had ideas in the beginning.
Final Call
i started when i was 13 as well. i have most of my old beginnings on soundclick located here.
A couple of years ago.. You'd never believe I've been making music for almost a decade.. Haven't seen much improvement, though I started pretty young and haven't really been doing it seriously than just a couple of years. Enough with the face saving.
edit. Will try to dig something older up tomorrow.. Something from 02-04 could be pretty awesome, hahah.
DJ Robby Rox
I actually have a ton of tracks I finished from 8 years ago I'm picking out the ones that aren't that bad right now.
Its weird to see that all I cared about back then was finishing a track and now all I care about is sound sound sound. Will get them up asap.
