Powerful language is a potent tool to really drive a point home.
I cited "ing" in a grade 11 English paper and my teacher told me that it really underscored the idea I was trying to convey (overt and covert sexual violation in some Atwood novel) and she was glad that I had used it.
Cover your bases in terms of citing it 100% correctly and use it to your advantage. Language is language.
