Deadmau5 is talented and anybody who denies that's an idiot. Even if you don't like his music saying he's "untalented" is a load of . It's like saying you think Jennifer Anniston is ugly because you think someone else is prettier. |

What makes a person an idiot for not liking deadmau5. Really, he's just another zitfaced pasty bedroom geek who happened to discover some unique fart bass sounds (which anyone can do these days) in fl studio and decided to market it all off with endless boredom in front of a few virtual synths and a ridiculous red helmet. Quit blowing smoke up his ass.

I didn't say you had to like him, I said you can't say he's untalented because that's just factually untrue.
And by preemptively wanting to hate something, I mean it's just like people who hate Apple products.
You can't "hate" them because they're good products, if you like Android phones it's impossible for you to HATE iPhones because they're way too similar. You can prefer one over the other but you can't hate it. The only reason people "hate" iPhones is the same reason people "hate" Deadmau5.
They want to hate them because they're popular, and they get some kind of personal satisfaction out of being the "cool indie kids who don't listen to popular music." It's no different than the hipsters that refuse to listen to anything on the radio because they're "sellouts."
If you don't like electro or progressive house then you won't like Deadmau5 and that's fine, but not liking a genre of music doesn't give you the right to act like the producer is horrible, untalented and rapes kittens, like some people on here do.
If you don't like him, that's your prerogative, but to ask people not to talk about him on a music discussion forum is ridiculous. |

He's obviously talented. And I don't like everything he makes, but I generally do like him. And he's awesome at sound design, he clearly understands music theory, his music is always extremely well mixed/mastered... Surely there are people that are more talented but that doesn't make him untalented, just like I said before, just because you think someone is prettier than Jennifer Anniston (Or whoever) doesn't make her ugly. That's factually UNTRUE.
He's TECHNICALLY talented. Regardless of whether you don't like his music or not calling him UNTALENTED is simply not true.
If someone doesn't like classical music and they think it's all does that make Bach untalented? HIM N HIS STUPID PLINKY PLONKY PIANO SOUNDS ITZ BULLSHAT |

It's relevant because Bach is obviously talented and to call him untalented is factually untrue. Deadmau5 is obviously talented, listen to his music. Even if you don't like it it's well crafted, saying he's untalented is factually untrue...
