Looks pretty basic at first glance, but it's got some pretty cool features.

Kontakt was the last straw. I don't buy products that use phresh wording.

Looks and sounds great and surprisingly not ridiculously overpriced. Which is a rare for Vengeance. I can see them having a lot of success in the future with their plugs. I'm guessing next is a delay unit or a distortion/overdrive type of thing.

You just wait.. it will come. Im picturing an all in one plugin one That can create everything you need to make a cheesy dance song from the start to finish. :D

I like that mastering plugin. Awful for mastering but it has these really cool features to apply on groups to get this really cool non linear dynamic pumping. As far as I know , no other plugin does this.

They already did that. It's called Vengeance sample CDs :)
I can't test their plugins because those ******s don't send me an email with the license. I've tried like 3 times...

This plugin proves it --- Vengeance : Marketing towards electronic music morons.
Decent price on it, at least.. only $65. I prefer the Moog filter from UAD.

I believe its called kontakt because its german? So not really phresh at all.
Vengeance on the other hand probably tried to make their stale plugin sound phresh. God knows they need all the help they can get.

ah that makes sense. I enjoy the company of Germans.Actually my dislike for entire populations increases as you go west from there excluding Ireland and certain parts of England. I wish they would invade france one more time just to complete the trilogy.

Yes and no. It's got two independent frequency bands, each with their own LFO and envelope follower, plus a ring modulator and built-in limiter, which is a very nice touch considering the potential that high resonances have for clipping. Yes, you could accomplish all that using two filters two EQs, two limiters, etc. on two busses, but having it all in one plugin is very convenient and probably keeps CPU consumption at a minimum. Also, it essentially has a brickwall filter cutoff option (96dB!). I can't think of another filter offhand that does all that, particularly with the shockingly low $65 price tag, even more shocking considering it's a Vengeance product.
Some of the comments here make no sense - this isn't a "trance" plugin. As stated above, it's essentially just a well-equipped filter that makes modulating the cutoff frequencies much more convenient. Just because it's made by Vengeance doesn't mean that it has no use outside of trance/EDM. :conf:
