already mentioned something similar. there's still a whackload of good parties to come and NYE is considered 2010 as well imo

Wait until the year is done to post your favourites of 2010 then. It's not that hard.

The year is substantially over.

He can also add a review now, and EDIT it if something changes by the end of the month. Also, not that hard. lol

Did they also play at Cobra? :conf:

My best party was hands down Farina at Stereo.
Best locals jam - Canada Day @ Keating Channel.
Biggest fail - Sneak Beats

Hmm...no love for Buttons DigDeep Disco sets? I dunno about you guys but part 1 and 3 are instant classics imo. Not only are the quality, but they're such a breathe of fresh air in a room full of mediocre "tech" house.

Best sets I've heard live: Satoshi in May, Burridge in February (or was it March?) and Button's opening set for Fanciulli.

I don't get out much anymore so I definitely missed out on some sick parties (eg. Diggers@KH)

Scene-wise...am I the only 1 who thinks we need a new club in this city? I'm really tired of the options we have now, especially with Footwork's crowd going downhill. Cobra is a great venue but partying on Thursday nights isn't always an option, and the crowd is closer to a TIL crowd (which can eff off, to be honest).

See my (and others') posts earlier about other types of parties. IE Milkrun, BoK, some off the cuff jams at the Social or Wrongbar, or hell even the Opera house. Constantly refreshing imo. A shame I didn't do more of those and opted for the 'same ol, same ol'. Although Cobra and Footy can be fun, going constantly gets old fast.

You bring up a good point. I always seem to miss those parties because I have something else going on; whereas when I have time off and wanna go out it looks like my only option is either Footwork, Cobra, etc.

;) Same here.

I wanted to check out the Zero party on the weekend but I ended up at a work Christmas thing/watching the Ufc at a bar instead.

I like Cobra, but the $8 drinks suck.

That's fine for mine but everyone who has already posted their premature reviews don't include the parties that happened after

the amount of people that would see the full and updated review after the fact are almost zilch because most people only read what's new in the thread when it's bumped

One of the best opening sets of the year for sure. He certainly outshone Fanciulli that night.

The crowd that was there for Magda wasn't like the crowd I've come to expect from Cobra at all. That being said, the crowd I've come to expect from Cobra is usually full of girls which is fine by me.
