Also you should add Midnight Cowboy to that list, a movie way ahead of its time.
Haven't seen Inception, though I enjoyed the Departed (yes, I know the only common thread between the two movies is the lead actor).

Marissa Tomei has a great toilet for a 44 year old in that movie, thought I'd bring some sophistication to this thread.

Don't come crying to me, I warned you.
But who will I run to then?!?! Noooooo!
I loved the Wrestler, but I did't kid myself into thinking it was anything more than a glorified hard luck story. Didn't care for The Fountain much.
Spin, if you liked Marissa in The Wrestler, she's just as cute in Cyrus.
I can't stand Adam Sandler movies, but I loved Funny People.

I went on a movie buying binge yesterday and bought those blurays (10$ and less)
I consider them all very good to excellent
No Country for old men
Inglorious bastards (meh)
The Mist
Reservoir Dogs
Crash
Donnie Brasco
Lord of the Rings (never seen it)
Where the wild things are (never seen it)

LOTR is awesome malek... spend a whole weekend watching them it's epic!
spin good job on mentioning midnight cowboys.. was going to edit that into my list but didnt...
im really hoping black swan is not as bad as the fountain... god the fountain sucked hard... visuals were cool but the storyline was whack... no wonder the production had problems
the mist = frank darabont = shawshank redemption + walking dead (which I heard is ah-mazing)

The Fountain... what to say other than I never got it, i think i never got it, but it seems also so simple... anyways.
Visuals are simply stunning, wish they had an option to turn off the dialogues and keep it playing with the music as some kind of moving wallpaper (Molson ex is reusing their music in current tv ads)
Zyklon_Jay
so no one like ass to mouth?
:(
i'm going to be reading this thread for reasons to make me believe that good movies still exist. It is worse than beatport.

You have to give it to the guy, even if sometimes his movies misses the target, they are all amazing to watch. Like Tarsem's movies.
For me, working with on The Fountain was simply a delight. But those projects don't fall in your hands very often.

One of the best parts of the fountain was the "making of" included in the hddvd. And it was all shot in Montreal.
Passskal

Redwoods (2009): "An unfulfilled gay man in a stagnant relationship finds his life changed forever when he meets a struggling writer."
Another brilliant film, Mr Eterno. You are invited to watch the film with me anytime.. I will even butter your popcorn :) :)
