Hedi Slimane designed Daft Punks suits for their gig @ Coachella and Alive tour.
Hedi Slimane also used to be the creative director for Dior Homme.

When you go to this movie, don't expect an incredible film in the way of plot etc...
It's eye and ear candy. Same as Avatar was..
Go in with those expectations and you won't be disappointed...

Saw it at midnight. It was... ok. There are some really drawn out dramatic scenes that just take forever. The soundtrack is at times overbearing (The Social Network and Inception had better soundtracks). Computer animated young Jeff Bridges looked lifeless, like a video game.
I saw it in IMAX 3D; would have been better in regular Digital 3D IMO (smoother action scenes, which were pretty awesome).

Going tomorrow. Thanks Kstuff for the heads up on the Imax experience. I was thinking of driving 1.5 hours to Montreal to see it, but I'll just catch it down here on a normal screen instead.

I doubt I'll get even close to it... lol
Anyway, I'm not expecting a great plot. I mean I've probably already seen something like this before... some kid sam tries to find his dad in some world where hes captured and held by some demon or something. theres a love interest... there are huge fight scenes. the boy has to prove himself. he overcomes all obstacles... he is praised by the people in this world. he may or may not leave this world. dad may be killed. etc etc.
i dont actually know the plot of this movie because i didnt read up on it but i wouldnt be surprised if it was along those lines.

Also, some cool vehicles, art direction, digital world architecture, latex suits, olivia wildes ass and some futuristic explosive scenes. I'm also a big gadget nerd so checking this out should be fun.
