I'm working on a little project and I need ideas. What's your favorite DJ booth? Post pics if you can, and why is it your favorite? I'm looking for booths that look bad ass.

| the old 1015 is the best booth i think. just google some pics. its low and close to the floor so you can interact with the dj |

| Yea, I've been to 1015. I like how it's low, but it's kinda cramped in there. |

The DJ is raised in the booth these days. In the OLD booth, he was more ground level. It's why the overhand above the DJ seems a little low. I think. Most of my time at 1015 was after the change.
1015 does have the best booth overall. Could there be more room within it? Sure. If the room was a lot bigger, sure it would've been. Just pull it out to make the backside of it deeper and it could go as wide as you want it.
The central part of the booth...not really much better out there than that. simple, sleek, lights up (and changes colors), etc.
The background could be updated though. Could line the area behind the DJ and the front walls on the sides with a LED screen or something that's all connected. One wide screen if the the DJ wasn't blocking it. Or operate as three seperate screens. Could do a lot of different stuff with that.
But who cares. Not like we are stepping inside there anytime soon.
Anyone have a picture of Sasha at 1015 where someone is reaching out lighting a cig? Thing there's just vinyl decks in front of sasha in it, and the old barebones stonelooking booth. |

One of the best DJ booths I've seen in SF was in the basement of Old Navy :haha: I'm serious it was awesome
I remember when the DJ Booth at 1015 was a coffin on cinder blocks :haha: |

I've never played in a club, so I may not be the best person to ask, but I've always liked Opera Atlanta's booth. It's above the crowd, though, and I know some DJs don't like that. For instance, I think they move it down to the lower stage for Ferry when he plays because he prefers to be closer to the crowd. Anyway, here are some pics:

As you can see, the DJ booth sits up pretty high. I still think it looks good, though. |

Well, if you want to go by a DJ booth that's up close and personal, circus' (original) booth contributes to an AMAZING environment if it's a insanely packed house, Because it's small and tight. I am talking before they put a line of plexiglass around it. Crowd was right up in DJs face on front and sides, and slammed up against plexi-glass behind him. Just a Spundae banner hanging down. Lots of peeps on here prob remember the booth before the plexiglass., which just makes it look jankier these days with the screens and plexi-glass.\\

From there, Ice Las Vegas' booth (after it was redone). Which was kinda in the middle of everything much like that Opera booth was, just more in the middle of the crowd. |
