Well that sucked. I was on the fence about coming out all day yesterday, and the only reason I came out was to hear tribal. I was there from 11 until 3am last night, and I only heard three or four tribal tracks. The rest of the night was just generic, bull tech house. There was nothing "Drums" about last night at all.
Not impressed. |

Iron Mike started off with Tech House then progressed into some drums.
I only REALLY wanted to hear Addy and that was a fail. Poor guy!
DUnity, played a couple outstanding tracks but the rest of their set was uneventful, and really heavy. There was this one magical track which I basically closed my eyes to the entire time, very dreamy.
Left @ 3.
I probably should have stuck around for Decoze, I saw him walk in as I was leaving, but I was already demotivated and had to do today so all signs pointed LEAVE. |

yeah Ableton was giving Addy a hard time, after we thought we'd resolved the issue it continued to skip/jump... so we had to ask D-unity to come on a bit earlier...
(sidenote: I see traktor and ableton drama on a weekly basis, CDJ's are still the most consistent technology when it comes to DJ'ing imo) |

I think if you were expecting nothing but "classic" tribal circa 2000-2005 then yeah you would have been confused lol (and perhaps my "all-time fav tribal' thread may have fueled that misconception) - the night was about tribal/techhouse/techno avec drums! |
