It's true. Mark it on your calendars:

Sonny Fodera: March 19

And since you mentioned his set from last March, here 'tis for anyone who missed it:

to me:

dubstep has no flow. It's the worst part of glitchy electro without soul. Techno lacks the musical variation to keep me interested all night long.

This is why I've been on the seamus haji/joris voorn/nic fanciulli/desyn masiello trip for a long time.

It almost pains me to watch all the early 20-somethings I see daily listen only to dubstep.

That's my take on it too, it all seems like a variation of that glitchy beat just at different pitches/bpm. I have a pretty open mind for music though, if someone knows some above average dubstep DJs or anyone that sticks out please post em.

+ The Revenge, Pete Herbert, Hot Toddy, Crazy P, Lee Foss, Ilya Santana, Silver City (to name a few)....

Wouldn't classify it so much as "Funky House" as I would Sleazy, Funked Out, Chuggy, Disco Infused w/ Sex Juice, Music. I just call it DigDeep Disco for short. ;)

Loveeee this stuff.

Was at Li'ly this past Thursday and the vibe there was great, lots of Funky/Techy/Groovy tracks being thrown down and the people there were just eating it all up. If you haven't hit up Li'ly on a Thursday I definitely suggest checking it out.

Well put. I do love techno but never really listen to it for extended periods of time. I always end up resorting back to deep house at the end of the day, which is the only type of EDM I never get sick of.
