For the past year, I've found Facebook as a whole to be such a mess when it comes to events / parties. The multiple invites, the constant inbox messages, have literally forced me to not even use my inbox or open invites anymore. Even as a promoter it's become a headache.
For a lot of us who threw parties for NYE, we found that most people couldn't even open the invite! That forced me to look elsewhere to post an event, and I thought I might give RA a shot. Just recently, the website started sending out weekly local mailers, that would feature events exclusively hosted in your hometown. Not to mention great content, articles & a fantastic podcast - I now consider RA a go-to not only as a promoter or DJ, but as a fan / club goer as well. Obviously TA is the best place for Toronto Event Listing - hands down. But if you're looking for another place to promote or find parties happening in the city, I think RA is doing a fantastic job in keeping their site interactive and relevant.

| Yeh, I've browsed the site but haven't set up anything yet. Very handy, tells you briefly who's going, not whether they're a 'maybe' or 'not going' because really who cares about those people. :p |

| LOL! I wouldn't jump on that quite yet. I still blast invites on FB for events that I play. It's just I don't bother reading any that come my way. ;) |

For me the best addition to the site is the weekly local mailer. It's unbiased, just a collection of the most viewed events in your city. And its one email, not 25 separate things you have to maintain. |

Wait, I took your off my mailing list when you cried about it last time and de-friended me. Is there a need to still have me on ignore? Is it the constant Selective Twitter posts that are clogging up your feed? LOL |
