THis is a bunch of crap lol.. smartest kids in my class and school were always the geekiest looking kids. People always made fun of them but we all knew they were the ones bound to make the big bucks. Just refer to Forbes 500, all smart guys in their own ways, but man most are an unattractive bunch.
Plus, Money can also help you look more attractive, surgery, healthy eating that can be afforded, personal trainers etc etc etc... |

the study, though not infallible is about IQ scores, not REAL intelligence.
1: IQ scores don't measure obvious intelligence: A lot of people with high IQs seem like idiots- Most geniuses are social retards for example
they don't really measure a type of 'intelligence' that is obvious, they claim to measure a kind of innate intelligence level, which has little to do with education etc. (IQ tests claim to measure intelligence which does not in any way come from education, but would equally be knowable for educated and un-)
this, of course, is bull, and its why i don't think the IQ test is a relevant measure of 'intelligence', but you have to remember that when looking at anything dealing with it
intelligence is immeasurable- also, for your forbes list, you don't have to be intelligent to be successful, you have to be a hard worker, and, if anything, have a kind of OCD-level fixation on tasks- most people on there probably do have high IQs, but if you talked to them, they would probably seem pretty unintelligent and extremely boring
point being: Attractive people might have higher IQs, but it doesn't mean they're any more intelligent, since intelligence, and more importantly wisdom come through USE and nourishment of the basic intelligence we all have. |
