I honestly thing that people should be forced to take a parenting course and exam before they are allowed to procreate. If they can't pass... they are not allowed to have children.
Too bad that could never be implemented :( |

Um... yea.
I am certainly not implying that there is some sort of "perfect race" or that it should be based on IQ tests.
I do believe however, that there are a lot of people who could immensely benefit from mandatory parenting classes. I also believe that a lot of children would be saved from hellish lives if the people who cannot understand basic parenting concepts were not allowed to procreate. |

Surprisingly, there are some TV shows that do a good job of teaching some valuable parenting lessons.
Unfortunately however, there are a lot more shows that do the opposite, and it just so happens that these shows cater to the lowest common denominator aka a lot of the people who really need the education.
I also think there needs to be more and intensive sexual education in schools. It has been proven that less or poor education is correlated to high pregnancy/STD rates.
Oh... and am I the only one that thinks IVF is bull? Or at the very least, government assisted IVF is super bull? |
