presales selling out tonight. does ruby do the same as avalon and sell half the "tickets" pre-sale and then allow for at the door purchases? club events never "sell out" do they? if people leave, new people can come in right?

| Nope, when Ruby sells out it's just usually plain sold out. I have seen them have tickets at the door in the past (been years though), but it's usually maybe like 50 tickets. Maybe 100. Other times, you are just SOL unless you try coming stupid late after some peeps have left. |

Is this more than likely going past the "2am" closing time I read, pretty much how A&B feel?
I vaguely remember when Armin played Sundays at Ruby it went well into 4am, but that was 21+ right?
Will it change things since this is 18+? Haven't been to the 18+ nights, so don't know how late they go. |

It'll go past 2am, I wouldn't worry.
I think most 18+ nights at Ruby do end from 2am-3am, but the Spundae 18+ nights have always operated under the same general hours as it's 21+ events. That is, usually goes until 4am.
Of course, it'll depend on if it's warranted. As in, how the crowd is and stuff. Given the huge response this night has already gotten, I would say the crowd is going to be just fine all night! I don't know how long A&B will play for though (and that could affect the crowd at the end of the nigth) -- dunno if they are the type that sticks to the contract slot length or do they know the fans in SF love the 4 hour sets and most DJs give it to them even when it's not in the contract! |
