| I'm just going to show up at Ruby Skye early buy a ticket then leave back to a friend's house. Any ideas when they would start selling them at the door? |

I _think_ 3 hours is their standard set. I think that's what their gig rider says. Although, it's been awhile since I looked at it.

Although I enjoyed them at TATW 350 in Los Angeles, I left wanting more, don't get me wrong it was fun, but their set lacked the energy that made them who they are. All their classics that they played were the mellow chill versions of them, which was disappointing.
All the people around me were super excited saying how awesome A&B had played, but in reality, I think that the venue and party itself was what people were excited for..
I mean, before A&B got on, they had the kings of proggry, mellow style, (Cosmic Gate) which again they are GREAT but their sets lacked the energy they once had, to now face another 2.5 hours of pure progry mellow beats by A&B which was overkilled for me..
Super8 & Tab saved that night for me, but by then I was mentally drained and tired..
Anyhow, not sure why A&B keeps selling out all their events, obviously this keeps reinforcing to them that their headed the right direction changing their style to some mellow, housey beat. Sucks for all the old school A&B fans.. |

i also think above and beyond is pretty boring live.
i've seen them 3 times and the sets just seem boring to me, no real energy.
but it's always a fun party that's why i don't miss them when they come to so.cal. |
