I went twice to this party. Our beloved twins always played there. It was db central with bottle service wars trying to out do the next table. They wouldn't even finish the bottle and already order another and another. Which was good for me being the jackass that I am I got wasted off the bottles I got from them lol
I even came out in one of their videos for a second :nervous:

I'm one of the resident DJs at The Colony for wednesday nights. If you come early, with women, it's not too hard to get in. I usually drop some deep and sexy tech house / disco tech early before getting into more commercial stuff later on. The music policy is definitely commercial-friendly house but it doesn't usually get super cheesy (depends on the headliner) and we'll usually play some good vocal progressive stuff. If you're a fan of SHM, Kaskade, you'd enjoy the music. If you think they're sellouts you probably won't ;-).
They have started doing bigger bookings at the Colony lately, such as Paul Harris, Nathan Scott, Dave Aude, James Doman, and they've got Dirty Vegas (all three of em) coming in...
As for the crowd, it's definitely very good looking but it's not an educated crowd and they don't always dance to what they should. That being said, the club is pretty big and has a small central dancefloor so the people that do want to dance are usually on the dancefloor. It's a really fun party, they've got Kryo, lasers and great lighting, and Funktion one sound (sounds great but can't get too loud due to the half-outdoor nature of the place).
FINALLY, and this is the most important point, Robbie Rivera is NOT playing on Feb 9th! I don't know why AM Only has it listed (they spoke with him but never made a deal) but they have not made a deal. I can't tell you who is playing that night until it's official but he's a great DJ and personally someone I'd rather see playing than Robbie.
I'm happy to put any of you on my guestlist on nights that i DJ, just know that my list is only really good till about 11pm and that it's still all up to the door guy's discretion. So come early with a girl ;-).
