Yeah this is what pisses me off. According to him and every soap opera website he's Black. Sorry but he doesn't look Black. I got yelled at on another forum site because I pointed this out. I don't get it. Are people STILL counting Octaroon's as "Black." I mean, forget that your mom is full white and your dad is half white half black, you're still Black. WTF?!? This method of classification is outdated and useless. "Black" is not a dominant genetic trait. The pics of that guy in the OP is mulatto at best, but I will never call him Black. Egyptian maybe.

He looks like he has a white mother and a black father.
In fact, I'm probably right.

In all seriousness, I don't know why people think he's Black. Or, for that matter, why people still care and cling to outdated terms like "Black", "White", "Brown", "Red" (Red!?) and "Yellow" (which happens to be my favourite, because I've never met a yellow person in my entire life).
It made some more sense when we didn't have mass immigration, new continents, and genetics. It's not uncommon to see someone with dark skin and green eyes any more, or someone with slanted eyes and natural brown hair. And why does it matter anyway? You can tell little about a person based on their physical traits. "Oh, his skin has more melanin than the whole of Denmark combined, so he's probably going to steal my wallet; oh, she's got a plain face, so she must be intelligent; hey, he's sporting a moustache, hide the kids!".
I love it how you guys spread this nonsense to other countries as well. Last year, for the first time ever, I had to tell the government what colour my skin is and the only options were "white", "brown", "black" or "native". And it's funny because I'm "white" in my "birth certificate" but my social security documents say I'm brown.
What the hell happened in the meantime? And how am I either white or brown?! I'm bloody beige!
