It says for canadians, your passport only needs to be valid for the duration of your trip! |
Bingo.
For the US it's either valid, or it's not. People need to get their facts straight before scaring people.
Here is a list of some countries that have special passport expiration rules.
•Brazil, Ecuador (including the Galapagos Islands), Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, Paraguay, Romania, Singapore: six months.
•Cambodia, Denmark (including Greenland), Fiji, Switzerland: three months (Denmark applies its three-month rule to your stay in any of 15 European countries). |

P.S. The rush one is actually around $90-$100 now...not $30. Although you have several options on how quick you need it, like 24 hours or like 5 days. |
i think they meant the additional charge over the charge already for just the passport. |

I work with US customs everday.
Its very simple...the officer can refuse you if he wants to
for any reason. they actually dont need a reason...lol
if you show up with a passport that expires i 6 months
they can refuse u...they can also let you in.
its all about the person you get. they dont even
follow their own rules sometimes,
the end. |

Lisa, how dare you suggest it's just a picture. it's the picture for the next 5 years!! |
It's not like you're hanging it up in your house! lol You're showing it to a custom's officer who you will most likely never see you again, and doesn't even care what you look like in the photo. |

| I personally try to look as bedraggled as possible for my passport pics. Because that's generally how I'm going to look going through customs somewhere. |
