Again, that is a partial list. If oil is worthless, not worth refining. If it not worth refining then many products can't be made. With no products being made, there are no need for factories, which means loss of mass jobs. Many people with no jobs = rebellion. The opposite of peace. Additionally, you will disrupt the way of life for many people. People will believe that you are taking them back to the stone ages. Losing one's way of life is another reason to fight the power.
I'm well aware of what oil is used for, however, fuel consumes the most and results in wars. I suspect that if it was simply an ingredient, an additive, rather than the only way to fuel cars, the demand would drop and make fighting for it expensive and unattractive.
This way of fossil fuel life we have is unsustainable, whatever the immediate outcome
