I think it's because of the tension of constantly being in the public eye.
It's like that feeling you get when you're in a really prescriptive environment, like a dinner party filled with stuffy teachers, and you just feel like doing something crazy because you're in such a tense environment that you've lost sense of yourself. So you suddenly have an intense desire to start a food fight or tell Dan from HR that he's a ing faggot.
But back to the cheating aspect... I think people who are constantly in the public eye around because they need to feel like themselves again. Because everything they do aside from taking a is in the press.
So a male politician will stick his dick in some dirty hooker because he feels like he's doing something for himself and himself only. It's really quite sad. |

You mean aside from her being a completely ignorant, arrogant and annoyng cunt? Or besides the "Gabriel Giffords 'incident'"? How about just hating her for Palin's Alaska? I think I'm somewhat entitled, even though I was only subjected to watching the ad for the show.
In a world stricken by various afflictions, harms, mishaps, tragedies - she's actually given a spotlight! Her 15 minutes have long ran out, yet here she is. She's like a Kanye West of politics, one never knows the dumb she's gonna say or do.

I once heard a psychologist say that it was due to a power rush - something like "I do it because I can" in order to compensate some sort of inferiority complex; or, this is a speculation of mine now, their marriage may have ended ages ago but they stay together to keep the appearances. |

I suspect it's a little from column A (compensatory narcissism) and a little from column B. I think there's also some truth to the adage about religion and politics being powerful aphrodisiacs (reactive narcissism). |

i dont think the power rush is nearly as important as the expulsion of jism over something that's far younger and hotter than your wife. |
