awe im so sorry that stupid people ruined your night. It kinda makes me feel better that i made the right descision. the guys...people in general...that i encountered in miami really blew me away.
Everyone just felt like they had license to do and act however they wanted!

lol, us girls need to squad up and attack them. I've never ran into this problem before, and I will never go without my boyfriend. I was born in Miami... and I guess there is a reason my parents plucked us out of there around 1999 and relocated us. I guess they knew then how nutso it was! I love Miami but it has collected a lot of nutty people over time. My parents grew up there and the pictures from back in the 50's/60's/70's... phewwww, you would never believe Miami use to be a small town atmosphere. Oh well, still love Miami, but I wont ever being going out by myself down there. I even went out Saturday night with my boyfriend and all of his friends and not a single person approached me... it was liberating!!! hahaha

but i think that the out of towners really went to miami with a bad attitude. i think that they felt like they could do anything bc they would be leaving and that "what happend in miami stays in miami" attitude just went too far!
I stayed with my BF most of the time....and towards the end of the weekend i never left his side HAHAHHA good thing i like him ;) lol

or Conference/MMC with the rest of the year.. I saw some crazy europeans/out-of-towners doing things like it was their spring break (might have been actually). I live in Miami and go out regularly but I don't think I see that kind of behavior very often. But I also don't go to Space much anymore so the crowd might be substantially different.

Dudes were definitely hilarious. Really? You're going to approach the same girl multiple times? It was also way, way too crowded downstairs. Hardly any room to move. I also saw some douche order four drinks, chug one when the bartender turned around and claimed he ordered four when she "only gave him three". Get the f out.
I was downstairs until 6 AM when they shut down and then I went up to the terrace afterward. I was the guy in the middle of the dance floor jammin' out 'til 11 AM. I was too preoccupied with the music to bother with ladies (or the rampant coke use). Totally different priorities. What a fun, long, long, lonnnggg night! Here's a couple vid's from the night:

Sucks that anyone had their nights ruined. Girls need to go out in groups, especially during WMC. And if harassed find a bouncer & get the loser bothering you thrown out. Bouncers @ Space love to throw out idiots with extreme prejudice, so they would've thrown the guys you encountered out with a smile on their faces. If you cannot find a bouncer just kick the guy in the nuts, really hard ...

Exactly. Let's be clear, Space was full of out-of-towners on Friday (probably 10% of people there were from Miami), and during WMC/MMW it is much worse. While Miami has it's share of dumbasses, I blame the out-of-town douchebag guido roid-head spring-break crowd that shows up here with this attitude: "I'm in Miami for WMC & I'm ing multiple whores, whether they wanna or not." Just look at the news story fallingmoon just posted, perfect example of California's trash washing up on our shores & making a girl's life miserable. I think that if you ask the girls and out-of-towners that came to Markus' terrace set in December @ Space or that have travelled here for shows outside of WMC/MMW, most will say they had a great time & that in general they are not harassed repeatedly or as bad outside of WMC/MMW ...

I did tell multiple guys to just leave me alone... or when they brought up there stupid pick up lines about how great the music was I said something like "my boyfriend really likes it too!". That worked for a few of them, but the longer the night went on the worse they got. I told the one guy that swore he slept with me (the same one that told me my name was brittany, and the 3 lines of coke and molly he did the night before were great!) "you need to leave me alone before one of us gets hurt or I get the cops involved"... he left me alone after that. But seriously though it was relentless, I felt like a fish in the middle of an ocean of sharks. I learned my lesson though. Never again.... Space during mmw is like the black pit of death and scum in Miami.
